Entry requirements if you have studied in Pakistan

Foundation Year

Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)/ FA/FSc/Intermediate (Year 12) - Science needed for Engineering courses.

Undergraduate Courses

Intermediate / Higher Secondary Examination with very good grades (Science needed for Engineering courses)/ A Levels/ 2 year Bachelor Degree  



Undergraduate advanced entry and top-up degrees

Holders of Bachelor (Honours) Degree (3 year after FSc / FA)/ may be considered.

Postgraduate Courses

Bachelor's Degree with honours from a recognised institution


Master's degree for MPhil courses, possibly leading to PhD study - a strong research proposal is crucial to the success of the application

English Language Requirements

Undergraduate courses

For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

Postgraduate courses

For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have a UK qualification

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.
