Entry requirements if you have studied in Rwanda

Foundation Year

Diplôme de Fin d'Études Secondaires / Diplôme des Humanités Complètes / Ordinary Level Certificate of Education / Rwanda Advanced Certificate of Education / Advanced General Certificate of Secondary Education / Certificat du Cycle Supérieur de l'Enseignement Secondaire 

Undergraduate Courses

Any of the following PLUS recognised foundation programme:

Diplôme de Fin d'Études Secondaires / Diplôme des Humanités Complètes / Ordinary Level Certificate of Education / Rwanda Advanced Certificate of Education / Advanced General Certificate of Secondary Education / Certificat du Cycle Supérieur de l'Enseignement Secondaire 

OR

Diplôme d'Ingénieur des Travaux Statistiques / Diplôme de Technicien Supérieur / Ingénieur Technicien / Baccalauréat / Diplôme de Bachelier / Certificate of Higher Education 

Undergraduate advanced entry and top-up degrees

Diploma level A1 / Diploma in Higher Education / Diplôme d'Ingénieur holders may be eligible for Year 2 entry

Advanced Diploma in Higher Education / Licence holders may be eligible for Year 3 entry

Postgraduate Courses

Bachelor (Honours) degree / Bachelor Degree (ordinary) / Diplôme de Docteur en Médecine 

English Language Requirements

Undergraduate courses

For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

Postgraduate courses

For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have a UK qualification

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.
