Foundation Year

West African Senior School Certificate 

Undergraduate Courses

West African Senior School Certificate PLUS recognised foundation year

General Certificate of Education Advanced Level - grades as per UK

National Diploma / Ordinary Diploma / Diploma 

Undergraduate advanced entry and top-up degrees

Higher National Diploma or Bachelor's degree (General) may be considered for Year 3 entry

Postgraduate Courses

Bachelor's degree (Honours) / Master's degree 

MPhil/PhD

Master's degree

English Language Requirements

WAEC with minimum C6 in English

Undergraduate courses

For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

Postgraduate courses

For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have a UK qualification

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.
