Entry requirements if you have studied in Uganda
Foundation Year
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE)
Undergraduate Courses
Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC) / East African Advanced Certificate of Education (EAACE) / Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with grades as per A level requirements / Diploma
Undergraduate advanced entry and top-up degrees
Higher Diploma holders may be eligble for Year 3 entry
Postgraduate Courses
Bachelor's degree
MPhil/PhD
Master's degree
English Language Requirements
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with minimum Grade 6 in English
Ugandan Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) and East African Certificate of Education (EACE) in English - Grades 1-6 inclusive
Undergraduate courses
For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.
Postgraduate courses
For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have a UK qualification
If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.
