Creating accounts

Welcoming a new member of staff? Here's how to ensure they quickly get connected on arrival.

Hardware

If required, we can supply a desktop or laptop computer, with a monitor, keyboard and mouse, along with a desktop phone. We also provide a selection of smartphones and tablets, with a choice of iOS, Windows and Android operating systems.

NB: the ordering process for new equipment can take up to 4 weeks.

Network access

Network access is provided via a login ID which is created after your new recruit has signed their contract of employment and returned it to HR.

NB: any delays in returning the signed contract will result in a delay in creating the login ID. If such a delay is unavoidable, you can request a temporary guest ID by calling the IT Helpline on 0161 247 4646.

Systems access
