Help and Support

We aim to make IT services at Manchester Met as easy to use as possible, but everybody needs a helping hand once in a while.

That’s why we offer a range of options that are easily accessible and help to ensure you have the support you need, whenever you need IT.


We have an on-site team of experts on hand to give you personalised support throughout the day, but also have out of hours support too, offering a 24 hour service that’s available all year round.

  • IT Rovers are our trained team of IT savvy students, providing face-to-face, dedicated support to fellow students. Rovers are a common sight in all of our libraries and IT Zones in their distinctive ‘Ask me for help’ T-shirts.

We've partnered with to provide a range of professional video tutorials that cover the breadth and depth of guidance for the majority of software you'd ever use while at the University. Learn more and get started
