A Manchester law firm has awarded a cash prize and a unique work experience opportunity to a top performing student.
Stephen Jeffreys, who studies at the Manchester Law School, has been recognised for his outstanding performance in immigration law.
Stephen, who is in the second year of a full-time LLB undergraduate degree, achieved the top overall mark in the optional Immigration Law unit and was awarded with a cheque for £250 by immigration law specialists Latitude Law.
He will also undertake a week of work experience with the firm in their Manchester office.
Speaking about his award, Stephen said: “I’m so happy to have won this award. A weeks experience at Latitude was a great experience and a real eye opener - the £250 was definitely helpful as well.
“I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Latitude Law for the award and to my tutors for helping me win it!”
