Who am I?
Prior to entering Law in 2005, my background was in the private sector where professional disciplines, motivational skills, specialist knowledge and expertise were core. My work with a large number of corporate clients has been both on a national and international level. In a volunteering role, I have worked for various counselling services, including giving advice at the Citizens Advice Bureau and also served on the board of a Manchester Housing Trust for over eight years. My research interests are in the area of Equalities and LGBTQ issues.
Equalities, LGBTQ and Socio-Legal studies. Associate Lecturer on the LL.B. Undergraduate Law & Society unit; Law of the European Union; General Diploma in Law; LL.B. - LP Distance Learning; Dissertation Supervision and Personal Academic Tutor.

Other academic service (administration and management)
To improve the student learning experience and act as first point of contact for pastoral and academic support and to triage where appropriate. My role also includes a wide range of issues including skill based work; confidential matters and referrals; liaison with student representatives; engaging with the peer mentor scheme; student retention and progression; team working with faculty SETs to develop both faculty and departmental initiatives.
