Specialist Postgraduate facilities
Recognising the challenging nature of solicitor and barrister training, the Law School offers a number of specialist facilities exclusively for the use of students on the LPC (Legal Practice Course) and BPTC (Bar Professional Training Course) programmes.
Students on both courses benefit from specialist resource areas, including legal libraries and technology suites, as well as private personal study areas.
Virtual learning environment
You will also have access to a leading virtual learning environment – Moodle – which contains reading lists, electronic books and articles, and provides direct communication with your tutors.
Your Student Hub is located in our award-winning Faculty building, and brings together everything you need as a law student. This includes comprehensive advice, information and pastoral care and referrals to specialist services.
Our Careers & Employability Hub offers advice on CV writing, gaining relevant pro bono and legal work experience, advice on finding pupillage (the last stage of training to be a barrister) or gaining training contracts, or with part-time work during study.
