At Manchester Metropolitan University, we offer curriculum-informed sessions to nurture the tech and science talent of tomorrow

The Department of Life Sciences offers Taster Afternoons made up of interactive workshops, designed to inspire and inform students who are interested in specific subject strands. At present, we have Taster Afternoons available to book which are suitable for students in Year 12 or their first year of Level 3 study. These will run from 1pm – 4pm on Wednesdays.

Teachers and advisers are encouraged to email , to find out more. Staff must accompany students to events.

Current sessions available:

Life Sciences: The frontline of medical care and diagnosis

Wednesday afternoons, 1pm – 4pm.

Students will have the opportunity to speak with course tutors and students, experience the facilities available at Manchester Met and use specialised equipment such as our Anatomage tables. Through practical workshops, this Taster Day will allow learners to gain an insight into studying Life Science subjects at University.
