The Manchester Children’s Book Festival has, since its inception in 2010, delivered fun-packed, inspirational events, activities and projects to communities across the Northwest and the globe.
Our audience includes children, parents, teachers and librarians; families and school groups from all over the world have visited, played, read, written, illustrated, responded, learned, explored and discovered by engaging with our creative programmes.
Our work over the last three years has focused on local Manchester communities, though our reach continues to extend via links with national and international organisations.
Manchester’s City of Literature status and the opening of the Manchester Poetry Library presents opportunities for Manchester Children’s Book Festival to play a major role in bringing poetry and literature to new audiences, locally, nationally and internationally.
