International policy transfer with Comeback Industries

MCYS member, Deborah Jump, has recently completed an international policy transfer with Comeback Industries - a social enterprise and gang reduction model- in Copenhagen Denmark which culminated in an international workshop focusing on desistence and boxing.

The workshop was convened by Deborah and held at Manchester Metropolitan University. Deborah's work specifically looks at the effectiveness of sport based programmes and desistance from crime. Her work is particularly tailored around boxing and its relationship to masculinity, serious youth violence and policy.
