I have a combined role at MMU as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant (PTA) and PhD researcher. As a PTA, I assist in teaching and laboratory demonstrations within the School of Science and the Environment, that include a range of subjects including: forensics, biology, and microbiology. I also lecture, run tutorials, assist in various workshops, supervise third year undergraduate projects, organise and run MMU futures events, and I am also a personal tutor to first and second year students. As a PhD researcher, I am developing a paper-based LOC device for the rapid and cost-effective detection of NPSs.
