Spice Ban One Year On - Unhappy Anniversary?

Room 2.15

Just over a year ago, Legal Highs - novel psychoactive substances commonly known as Spice were banned. The use of Spice is now a very real problem in Greater Manchester.

In conjunction with Lifeshare, this event will look at the problem of NPS use within our communities. This will be a very informal event and accessible for all. There will be a presentation followed by a workshop.

The aim is to share good practice and knowledge, dispel some popular myths and also to raise awareness amongst those who work with our children and student population as well all those with whom you work.

We are hoping to have representatives from the emergency services, pastoral leads at schools and colleges, school nurses, members of the media and ex-users from amongst the homeless community.

The event is free but it will be ticketed. For further information and to book your place visit the event website.

Location: Room 2.15, Brooks Building, 53 Bonsall Street M15 6GX
