Roll up, roll up to the greatest show on earth

Have fun and celebrate in style

Manchester Metropolitan is proud to be taking part in the Manchester Pride Parade for the sixth consecutive year and invites staff, students and alumni to get involved.

Manchester Pride Parade 2018 will be taking place on Saturday 25 August and is a fantastic opportunity for the University to come together and celebrate diversity and equality in our great city. This year’s theme is ‘Circus of Acceptance’, which is already set to be the greatest show yet!

Each year, the University creates and enters a float into the Parade that shows Manchester what makes Manchester Metropolitan #McrMetProud.  The float travels through the colourful streets of the city in front of thousands of spectators and everyone involved has great fun, whilst showing support for LGBT+ communities.

Plans are already well underway for the University’s float entry and you are invited to join in the celebrations. So whatever your identity, age or ability, sign up today! (Everything you need to know about the day is on the sign up page).
