My profile

Interests and expertise

Clinical exercise physiology with an interest in how long-term or acute health perturbations may impact a) health-related outcomes related to quality of life, physical function and physical behaviour and b) be mitigated by physical interventions such as exercise and training.

Working with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and the elderly in areas related to bone, muscle, pain, fatigue, falls, metabolism, muscle damage, VO2max, QoL, joint stiffness, etc.

Outside of clinical groups, the impact of the period on physical activity avoidance and adaptation is another area I publish in.
