This year, we’re running a week of talks and sessions to give you a taste of Postgraduate study at Manchester Met.

Themed Taster Sessions

We're really excited to be able to offer a series of themed taster sessions led by subject experts, designed to inspire you and give you a taste of the diversity of postgraduate study.

Themes include:

• The Manchester Spirit: a Political and Cultural Powerhouse
• Trump's America: the Man, the Myth, the Media
• Psychoactive Substances: the Science and the Psychology
• Industry 4.0: 3D Printing
• Cryptocurrency and Marketing in the Digital Age
• Global Sporting City

Sessions are open to all students, but places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Advice on student finance and applying for a postgraduate course

Throughout the week we are offering a range of drop in sessions to give you practical advice about progressing to postgraduate study. Sessions include advice on completing your postgraduate or PGCE application and information about the Postgraduate Loan Scheme and Alumni Loyalty Discount Scheme.

We're also hosting a Student Panel session where you will have the chance to ask current postgraduate students about what it is really like to study a postgraduate course here at Manchester Met.
