14th ESA Conference to be held in Manchester, Gary Pollock (Manchester Metropolitan University) is chair of the local organising committee

Every other year since 1992, the European Sociological Association has organised a big conference in different European countries. From 20th to 23rd August 2019, we are expecting up to 3000 participants from all over the world to come to Manchester, UK for the 14th ESA Conference dealing with “Europe and
Beyond”. We hope you will join us, too!

The conference will include an evening event on Wednesday 21st August 2019, which is open to all. The local organising committee is preparing a special event around the 200th anniversary of Peterloo.
