I graduated as a Biomedical Engineer at the University of Bologna in 2009 and obtained my MSc in Neural Engineering in 2011 at the University of Genova. I was awarded my PhD in 2016 by Manchester Metropolitan University on the subject of Muscle Modelling using Finite Element Analysis. I currently work as Programme Support Tutor at Manchester Metropolitan University and in this role I support the research of lecturing staff and help students on their projects. I have continued my professional development becoming a FHEA and obtaining a PGCTLHE. My areas of research expertise are mechanical and biomedical engineering and signal processing and I am also interested in and support the IoT and Digital Twins areas.
