Play for fun

If you don’t fancy the commitment of joining a team, then come along to Active Campus indoor Cricket where you can turn up and play for fun.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced player or have never held a cricket bat, Active Campus is for everyone and all abilities. Our friendly student activators will be on hand to welcome you and guide you through the session.

When: Men`s - Thursdays 19:00 – 21:00 Women`s - Thursday 16:30-18:00
Where: Men`s training - Brooks Sports Hall Women`s training - Sugden Sports Centre
How to sign up: There is no need to register – just turn up and play.

For those who want to play cricket all year round, Manchester Met Cricket Club offer the opportunity play both competitively or leisurely, train and play indoor and outdoor.

They are a highly social club that is keen to help improve players of all standards. They compete competitively in both the indoor and outdoor BUCS competitions.

Our team plays in the following BUCS league:

  • Men’s 1st - Northern 3a
  • Women`s Represent
