If you don’t fancy the commitment of joining a team, then come along to Active Campus Swimming where you can turn up and swim for fun.
Our friendly student activators will be on hand to welcome you and guide you through the session.

The swim club competes in all BUCS competitions as well as hosting various external galas.

This years Swimming scholars
British Para Swimming have already agreed in principle to our Memorandum of Understanding and we are already working collaboratively through academic input, student athletes at the university, flexible study arrangements, cooperation in CPD work for staff and more.
Aligned with our ambitions of becoming a ‘go to’ university for elite athletes who want to commit to a dual career option, we have been working with British Swimming to ensure that this fits both our programmes.
Elite level swimmers are invited to train with CoMAST whilst attending Manchester Met (up to 20 hours of training available a week).
Swim England has agreed that the CoMAST / Manchester Met partnership is to become the first Swim England Performance Centre.
