Zone Out Week - Give yourself a break

Tuesday, 1st May 2018 – Friday, 4th May 2018

Deadlines got you down? Stressed about your next exam? 

De-stress with Zone Out Week, a 4-day event packed full of activities, workshops, freebies and advice to help you unwind from exam stress.

Visit the Zone Out Tent in All Saints park for a welcome break and de-stress with:

Ping Pong & darts
Deckchairs & bean bags
Colouring & Play Dough
Giant Jenga, Connect4 and Lego
Free water, fruit and pencil cases

There will also be workshops throughout the week including:

Guide dogs

Wet nose. Soft fur. Stress gone. The much-loved Guide dogs return for Zone Out Week.

Sleep Well.

This workshop aims to make changes in your lifestyle to get a better night's rest and establish a good sleeping pattern.

The Secret Life of Bees talk

Learn about Milk and Honey’s first year bee keeping. With sweet treats and honey to taste from the hives.

Relax with a massage

20-minute slots of a choice of hand, head or neck/shoulder massage.

Advice Service drop-in

Information on what to do if you can’t make your exam, are unwell, housing and more. Pre-booking not required.


Mindfulness is the practice of bringing greater attention to the present moment, gently becoming more aware of our experiences and ourselves.

Stressed about exams?

Working towards exams can feel like a lot of pressure and you may place a lot of importance on doing well. Learn new ways to help manage the stress of taking your exams.

Eating for exam performance

Milk & Honey's very own chef, Ben Limb, will show you how to make some simple salads and smoothies to boost energy and improve performance. Plenty of tasters will be available for all.


Run out of drive? Can't be bothered? This workshop is designed to help you get your mojo back.

Can’t get on with your work?

Come along to this workshop to identify and overcome the things that stop you from getting on with your university work.
