My research interests primarily concentrate on investigations of global and regional effects of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions from aviation on climate, as well as unravelling the uncertainties associated with aircraft NOx estimates. I am also interested in the interactions between motivations for improving air quality and climate or how the scientific advice can assist in technology development and climate policy, especially in the light of the existing tradeoffs among different aviation effects.
I provide scientific support to the UK Department for Transport, I have experience working in EU projects (REACT4C, ACACIA, SENECA), and I am a member of the ICAO-CAEP Impacts and Science Group.
