I specialise in practice based learning. My main subject areas are:- Environmental Management Tools (e.g. Environmental Management Systems, Sustainable Procurement, Sustainability Appraisal), Sustainable Development, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Impact Assessment.

Other distinctionsHannah is an experienced Sustainability and Environmental Manager with several years experience working in a large Local Authority. Hannah has also spent several years working in town planning.
Hannah has led on many projects including Carbon Management Plans, an Environmental Champions Scheme and two Local Strategic Partnership Climate Change Strategies. Hannah also wrote and introduced an Environmental Management System (EMS) at Stockport Council. The EMS achieved certification to the International Standard ISO14001:2004 in December 2010. Stockport Council is the only Council in Greater Manchester to achieve certification to date and approximately only 5% of all UK authorities currently have a certified EMS.
