I am an Earth Scientist with interests in geology and geomorphology.
After a degree in Geology & Physical Geography I specialised in researching river water flow and sediment transport processes for my PhD.
More recently I have become involved in Geoconservation - helping to protect sites of geodiversity value and raising awareness of Earth heritage with the public.
On your courses we will investigate the following types of topics together:
The structure and history of the Earth, and Earth materials including geological resources.
Geoconservation
Drainage basin hydrology and river and coastal processes and landscapes
River and coastal management
