Biography

I am a lecturer and level 5 Year Tutor within the Strategy, Enterprise and Sustainability Department. My responsibilities include unit leadership for both undergraduate and postgraduate units.  

My current research interests include small to medium enterprise (SME) strategy, success, growth and sustainability. My current research project is an investigation into North Western SMEs and to understand what critical success factors are most important for them to achieve and operate towards success. I am also interested in the heterogeneity that surrounds small businesses and success factors.

I also possess industry experience at consultancy level and have contributed to the growth of various SMEs within the Northwest of England.

Supervision

I am currently unit lead for dissertations on both MSc Management and MSc Entrepreneurship. This role comes with the responsibility of allocating our MSc Management and MSc Entrepreneurship students with supervisors who possess similar research interests. 

I currently supervise multiple students as Masters level and ensure that their dissertations are of a high quality standard.
