Teaching

To motivate and engage my students, I focus on creating a safe and inclusive learning environment in which students develop a sense of belonging and community. Learning in HE involves critical thinking, so students need to have a trustful atmosphere where they feel safe to share their opinions and viewpoints, and asking questions without worrying of making mistakes or being judged. Using innovative technologies in my sessions, such as interactive apps, creates engagement and active learning experience.

My research interests focus broadly on the process of organisational change for sustainability. I am interested in factors that influence changes in business models to achieve improved sustainability performance, such as material demand reduction. The research projects I was involved with focused on a range of sustainability-related topics, from exploring how trade unions respond to climate change issues and green economy to how different actors in the palm oil supply chain address traceability and transparency.
