Do you dread social situations? Feel anxious around others? Worry about embarrassing yourself in company? Social anxiety can really get in the way of enjoying your life and doing the things that you want to do.
The course uses a CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) based approach, a tried and tested approach, to help with the problem. Each of the three sessions are 1.5 hours long. To get the most out of the course though you will need to do the homework/practice the techniques between sessions.
Most students feel really anxious about coming to the group but this will ease. Sadly most people don't seek help for social anxiety although it is one of the most common anxiety problems.
Session dates: 28th February, 7th and 14th March, each session 2:00-3:30 pm.
