Carbon Literacy Training Part 1

Geoffrey Manton 3.31

Are you worried about climate change and want to find out ways you can act on it?

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges we are currently facing and it will affect all aspects of society. As a result, employers are increasingly realising the importance of employing graduates with an understanding of environmental and social issues in order to cope with future challenges.

The University offer free Carbon Literacy training for all students and staff. The training will improve your employability and provide you with the knowledge and skills to communicate and act on climate change.

The training is in two parts, Part 1 consists of a film screening of Sir David Attenborough’s critically acclaimed documentary “Climate Change: The Facts”. This is followed in Part 2, by a workshop led by Manchester Met’s Carbon Literacy trainers.
