Manchester has launched the first-ever city-region wide plan to drive down single-use plastic. The campaign Plastic Free GM backed by Mayor Andy Burnham aims to make Greater Manchester the first UK city-region to ditch single plastics.

Join us for the screening of the documentary A Plastic Ocean (22 minutes) and discussion with our Student Sustainability Ambassadors to learn more about the issue of single-use plastic and its impact on people and planet.

There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Plastic Free GM campaign and what you can do to avoid single-use items while in Manchester.
