Homelessness is a big issue in Manchester which is pretty hard to ignore. We know lots of students care about this problem and want to do something pro-active to help. The problem is complex, we want to ensure students are making informed, sustainable decisions when it comes to volunteering in homelessness.
There are loads of fantastic and dedicated charities working tirelessly in Greater Manchester to tackles the root causes of homelessness and provide practical support to rough sleepers and people at risk of homeslessness.
This jampacked session will help you figure how to use your skills to have greatest impact. These charities are experts in their feilds but they rely on volunteers for a range or wierd and wonderful roles - it may be that you can help in ways you never imagined.
