The Third Term Programme offers students the opportunity to get involved in a wide-range of experiences that will help you learn new skills, earn credits towards your degree and shape your future career.

The opportunities on offer give you the chance to gain key skills that will look great on your CV – making you stand out from the crowd. Finding an activity you enjoy or want to gain experience in will boost your prospects and help enhance your personal growth.

There are lots of opportunities on offer . . .

Work with young people and become a role model, learning management and leadership skills with opportunities such as mentoring schoolchildren to develop their confidence, promoting wellbeing in primary schools and teaching children new languages.

Go digital and gain real life experience creating podcasts and documentaries, develop your coding skills or help deliver creative writing workshops for young people and transform their stories into augmented and virtual reality.

Develop your interpersonal skills by learning a new language, become a climate champion by joining the campaign to support positive environmental change in your city or experience working in a team to create a digital project for a Government Department.

There is a whole host of opportunities to get involved in, giving you the opportunity to develop a whole host of skills. The Third Term Programme allows you to develop your communication, time management, creativity, decision-making, teamwork skills and more.
