Manchester Met is committed to promoting a safe and supportive environment. If you or someone else is in immediate danger dial 999 or contact campus security 24/7 on 0161 247 2222.

If you have been a victim of rape or sexual assault, recently or in the past, there is a range of support available to you, whether or not you choose to make a report to the police.

The NHS Live Well website provides detailed information on help available after rape or sexual assault.

To report directly to the Police: call 999 if it is an emergency or you are in danger. Otherwise, call 101 at any other time, visit your local police station or report the incident online.

St Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre offers confidential support and medical advice. You do not need to have made a report to the police to receive their support.

To report an incident to the University online: visit our Report + Support website, where you can choose to report anonymously if you wish. Our Student Services team monitor incident reports and, if you provide your contact details, will be in touch within one working day to discuss the incident and offer you support.
