If you are on a distance learning programme, you can request a card after enrolling by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and student ID. The card will be posted to your permanent address on record.
It’s important that you keep your student card safe and have it on you at all times on campus.
But don’t worry, if it has been lost, damaged or stolen, find out how you can get your replacement below:
All students receive their initial student ID card free of charge and will receive three free card replacements. If you need a new card, please visit one of the Student Hub desks.
You will be charged £10 if you require further replacement cards after the three free replacement cards.
Make sure you visit a Student Hub prior to purchasing the replacement student card if you are unsure whether you should be charged or not. Once a £10 purchase has been made, we are unable to provide a refund if you didn’t check to see if you were able to receive a free replacement.
If your student ID card has been stolen, you will be able to obtain a free replacement, regardless of how many previous student cards have been issued.
Please visit one of the Student Hub desks and provide them with your crime reference number (given to you by the Police) to collect your free replacement card.
If your student ID card has stopped working, you will be able to obtain a free replacement, regardless of how many previous student cards have been issued.
Please bring your damaged, faulty or expired student card to one of our Student Hubs and we will then exchange it for a new one free of charge.
If you have any questions about your student ID card, please get in touch with any of the Student Hubs.
