In just nine months you can complete your ACCA professional papers. To start this course, you need to have successfully completed (or been granted exemptions from) the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills papers (formerly F1-F9).

This course is an important step on your journey towards becoming a chartered accountant. Once you’ve completed your ACCA papers, you’re ready for the next stage.
You’ll be ideally placed to work in assistant accountant roles. This will allow you to build up the experience you need to become a full ACCA member and chartered accountant.
The ACCA qualification is globally recognised. So you can kickstart your career anywhere in the world. You could work for an international organisation, putting all the skills you’ve learned into practice.
Once you have three to five years of experience, you’ll be ready to apply for more senior roles, such as financial controller.
Small businesses and global firms need skilled financial professionals – ACCA qualified accountants work in finance teams and specialist firms in auditing, advisory and taxation.
You could also set up an accountancy practice if you have ambitions of running your own business.
Applicants must have either passed all nine ACCA Fundamental papers or have a 1st or 2:1 UK undergraduate honours degree (or international equivalent) and have been granted exemption from all nine ACCA Fundamental papers.
Overseas applicants will require IELTS with an overall score of 6.5 with no less than 5.5 in any category, or an equivalent accepted English qualification. Accepted English qualifications can be viewed here.

If you have successfully completed or been granted exemptions by ACCA from all the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills papers (formerly F1 to F9 of the Fundamentals level), this programme enables you to complete the remainder of the ACCA professional examinations in just nine months.
Throughout the course you are encouraged to apply advanced professional skills and techniques that are used by an expert accountant acting in an advisory role at a senior level.

Our Accounting, Finance and Banking Department is the largest provider of accountancy training in the North West of England.
The department offers extensive industry experience through active experts in their profession, with excellent relations across industry bodies and a collaborative approach to promoting critical thinking, employability, flexibility and professionalism.
Your studies are supported by a team of committed and enthusiastic teachers and researchers, experts in their chosen field. We also work with external professionals, many of whom are Manchester Met alumni, to enhance your learning and appreciation of the wider subject.
UK and EU students: Full-time fee: £4,400 per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study).
Non-EU and Channel Island students
Non-EU international and Channel Island students: Full-time fee: £7,000 per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study).
A Masters qualification typically comprises 180 credits, a PGDip 120 credits, a PGCert 60 credits, and an MFA 300 credits. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of study provided the course is completed in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study).
All of the books required for the course are available from the library. The University also has PC labs and a laptop loan service. However, many students choose to buy some of the core textbooks for the course and/or a laptop. Students may also need to print their assignments and other documents. Campus printing costs start from 5p per page. Estimated costs are £300 for a laptop up to £100 each year for books and printing.
