Self-funding postgraduate students should pay in full at enrolment or join either of the University’s agreed instalment schemes (Direct Debit or Auto Card Payments) available during online enrolment/registration or by contacting a member of the Finance Service Centre team. Full details of payment methods are available on the Finance web pages.
Postgraduate Loans (England/Wales) students will be directed to set up an Auto Card Payment to create your loan instalment plan. Please email email@example.com (if your confirmation letter from Student Finance indicates payments dates that differs from the Manchester Met payment plan), once you have received your invoice if you want to amend your instalment dates. This will allow the University to revise your instalment plan in line with your schedule of payments, and will prevent your fees from becoming overdue.
Payment is accepted by the following methods:
All international students who pay their own tuition fees must pay a deposit of £3,000 prior to arrival in the UK. The amount of your tuition fee deposit will be confirmed in your offer letter from the University.
The balance of your tuition fees can be paid in instalments:
Payments are collected three times per year – please refer to the Finance web pages for further details.
Manual instalment schemes can be set up after enrolment by contacting a member of the Finance Service Centre Team.
Please supply Learning Provider Number 2077. During online enrolment you can select ‘Another Payment Method’ select Professional Career Development Loan from the dropdown list and upload your payment schedule to Credit Control.
If you are not responsible for the payment of your tuition fees please ensure that the University receives written confirmation from your employer or sponsor prior to your enrolment by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). You can select this method of payment when you enrol online.
