Guidance for teachers and support staff

We promote the First Generation programme to Year 12 learners throughout the academic year, from September – July.

This is mainly delivered via talks and stands held on your campus. If you’re interested in inviting us to talk to your students about the programme, please contact us on firstgeneration@mmu.ac.uk. Where possible, we bring First Generation Ambassadors (current students) to talk about their own experience.

Application window

We usually stay open for applications from Year 12 students throughout the academic year, but may close earlier if we become over-subscribed. Our advice is to apply as early as possible.
