Our friendly Careers and Employability Service can help you to learn new skills, build experience for your CV and take steps towards your future prospects. Find out about all our opportunities including jobs vacancy service, CV advice and career planning workshops.

What’s it like to be at the top?

See where your time with us could take you. Read all about our successful graduates and all our Alumni benefits, including access to our careers service for up to three years after graduation, office space to develop new business ideas and discounts at restaurants and leisure facilities.

What about international experience?

Did you know that our Exchange and Study Abroad Service could arrange for you to spend up to a year in the US, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong or Japan or get a EU grant to work or study in Europe for 3 months to a year? We have many International students from 130 countries for you to meet.

What part-time work could help my job prospects?

We have a dedicated Jobs4students service to help students to find work on campus at events such as Open Days. Our Careers and Employability Service also offers advice on choosing and finding part-time work to help you secure a job while studying and after graduation.

What do Manchester Met graduates do?

Have you heard of KIS (Key Information Set*) data? For every course at Manchester Met, you can view everything from the percentage of students in work or studying after 6 months to professional accreditation available for courses.   • If you have receive an offer from us, we’ll be in touch to offer you the chance to come to a Visit Day where you can talk to tutors from your course and find out anything else you need to know.
