Hospitality, Food and Nutrition

Technical Services within the Department of Food and Tourism Management operate in two distinct areas which cover a broad spectrum of food related activities. Working with industry standard equipment and facilities the technical team manage the practical studios, delivering professional training and advice.

Food and Nutrition

Two teams, Food Development and Food Science support the Food Nutrition section. They provide technical support for a wide portfolio of full and part-time undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes such as Human Nutrition, Nutritional Sciences and Food Development.


Members of the technical teams provide technical support for the portfolio of full time undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in hospitality management.
