Introduction

Manchester Writing School hosts two prestigious literary competitions, the Manchester Writing competition for fiction and poetry and The Quite Man Dave Prize for flash fiction and flash non-fiction. Plus, our staff and students contribute to a huge range of research projects, community engagement projects and collaborations across the university and beyond.
