6th International AR & VR Conference 2020

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak worldwide, it is not possible to host the 6th International AR & VR Conference in Lisbon, Portugal on 24th-26thJune 2020.

Consequently, we have decided to host the conference virtually later this year on 19th-20th November 2020.

The conference will be hosted by Prof. Sandra Loureiro and her team at ISCTE-IUL.

We welcome the latest research on the application of AR & VR  and selected abstracts will be invited to Special Issue of International Journal of Advertising (SSCI).

Instructions for authors

All Papers/abstracts must be submitted via Easy Chair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=arvr2020). Authors of accepted papers will be expected to attend the conference and make a 10-15 minutes oral presentation.

Scientific Track & Industry Track

All paper submissions must be in English and submitted as a word file. The document file should not contain information that unnecessarily identifies the authors, their institutions, or their places of work. Extended abstract length: max. 3 pages (excl. references). All accepted papers are expected to be presented during the conference. Papers are invited to be expanded into a book chapter to be published by Springer post-conference.

PhD Poster Track

2 page abstract: recently completed work, work in progress, or publicly presentable ideas for unimplemented and/or unusual systems or applications. All accepted posters are expected to give an oral presentation during the pre-conference and to present a poster during the main conference. 

Time Schedule

• Easychair will be open for new submissions until August 15 2020
• Notification of acceptance/rejection of new submission: September 15, 2020
• Early bird registration deadline: New early bird registration will be open later this year.
• Normal registration ends: New normal registration deadline will be open later this year.
• Virtual Conference: 19th-20th November 2020.
