I am a Senior Lecturer here at MMU and my Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching areas include Information and Knowledge Management, Management for Information Professionals, Information, Systems Thinking and Organisational Resources, Developing Infocomms Projects, Managing Contemporary Organisations
My teaching approach is above all, student centred. I strive to provide a varied style that includes lectures, group work and different activities, all of which is supported by Virtual Learning Environments.
We live in a world where Information and Communications is increasingly central to the life of organisations and of society at large. Success in a digital world depends not only on knowledge of, and skills in, these technologies, but in people behind that knowledge and information understanding every aspect of it, from its creation, dissemination, context and audience, through storage, retrieval, manipulation and impact.
Be prepared to try to understand and challenge the way new technology changes, and is changed by, our society.
