With assessments just around the corner, we want to make sure you have everything you need to ace them in the coming weeks.  

Whether it’s coursework, presentations or exams, preparation is key. We know how hard it can be to get prepared, so we are here to help.   

Six quick tips for successful preparation  

  1. Create a study plan or to do list   

  1. Find a space where you can concentrate to study   

  1. Organise study groups with friends on your course   

  1. Take regular breaks  

  1. Drink plenty of water   

  1. Get a good night’s sleep before assessments

Assessment prep is all about nailing productivity. You might be full of enthusiasm and good intentions but sometimes getting things done can feel overwhelming and feel like the biggest hurdle to jump.

Writing Feedback and Studiosity  

Our Writing Feedback service is a great way for you to discuss your writing and receive feedback from our Academic and Study Skills Tutors before submitting an essay, assignment or dissertation.

Study Skills workshops  

Our virtual Study Skills workshops are a really useful way to learn more about time management, note taking, critical reading and academic writing. You will also earn 5 Rise points for each workshop you attend.  

Staying motivated and looking after your wellbeing   

Staying healthy is really important during the assessment period, remember to be kind to yourself by taking breaks and ‘me time.’
