Postgraduate study and research

We run taught masters-level courses as well as providing opportunities for postgraduate research study.

• Transforming Places — through our research for the Institute of Place Management and others we are helping create sustainable and thriving spaces and places, built around the needs of people who use them

Our postgraduate research community is built around the needs of its members. As well as being supported by eminent and influential supervisors, you will also have access to a wide range of development activities, including our seminar series.

• short- and long-term research fellowships
• visiting professorships

Funded opportunities and scholarships

We advertise funded scholarships — sometimes called studentships — throughout the year.

You can register for notifications when applications open for new scholarships.

We also accept proposals for self-funded study, and are always willing to support candidates preparing applications for external funding.
