I am a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, International Business and Tourism. I completed my PhD at MMU and my research expertise is in immersive technologies (VR) and tourism. In particular, my current research focus lies on the impact of VR on tourists and places exploring the business transformation of tourist destinations. My research also has implications for destination marketing and other related areas.
During my PhD, I worked at MMU as an Associate Lecturer for almost 5 years.
I am passionate about learning, teaching, and supporting students to enhance their learning experience. I am also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)
My role includes teaching economic and business units such as Mathematical Economics I, Sports Finance, and Digital Skills and Research Methods for International Business Management. However, I have also teaching experience in marketing, statistics, and business technology.
