My profile

Biography

I am a lecturer in Marketing, Consumer behaviour and Consumer Psychology. I attained my PhD in Marketing from Alliance Manchester Business School where I explored black female empowerment through consumption.

Prior to joining Manchester Metropolitan University I have spent several years working in marketing for an engineering consultancy operating in the West African market (Nigeria) with a portfolio of Oil and Gas clients such as Shell, Seplat, Crestech, NLNG, Total and Worley Parsons to mention but a few.  After several years in the engineering sector, I ventured into owning and running a bespoke cake design company: Sweet Bakeology and have now returned back to academia with a keen passion in consumer behaviour.
