Biography

At Manchester Metropolitan University I hold the role of Enterprise Fellow in the Centre for Enterprise within the faculty of Business and Law. I also have a teaching role within the department for Strategy, Enterprise and Sustainability (SES).

Current units/projects (2021-Present):

  • ERDF Eco-I NW - Operational lead on the project for Manchester Met, working closely with the faculty of Science and Engineering and partners at Lanchester University, University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores, UCLAN and the University of Cumbria. I manage the project and lead on the innovation workshop delivery.
  • PrintCity Network - Operational lead on the project which supports innovation in Greater Manchester based SME’s.

Previous units/projects (2018 to 2021):

  • ERDF Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre - Project Lead. The Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre is an ERDF project that introduces businesses to Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology with the aim of helping them innovate and commercialise the technology. I managed the project and led on the workshop delivery.

PrintCity Network 2021-2023

The focus of this project is to support GM based SME’s to innovate and iterate new products/services with Industry 4.0 technologies. .

Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre (MFCIC), 2018-2021

Through the MFCIC ERDF project we supported 77 SME’s, entered into a number of long-term collaborations with businesses and helped develop 21 new products/services.

Teaching

I have a teaching role within the department of Strategy, Enterprise and Sustainability.
