Dr Leo Shixiong Liu is an experienced academic researcher and senior lecturer with over a decade of expertise. Currently, He is a Senior Lecturer in Business Analytics at Manchester Metropolitan University, where he has also held the role of Programme Leader for the MSc Business Analytics program for an impressive five years.

Before joining Manchester Metropolitan University, Dr Liu contributed significantly to academia as a lecturer at the University of Reading. Concurrently, He held the position of Executive Director at the HAINA Academy, focusing on customised executive education for global cooperatives. This role highlighted the commitment to tailored education for international cooperative enterprises.

Dr Liu’s academic journey commenced as a Data Analyst and Doctoral Researcher at the University of Reading. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in data analysis. Prior to his academic pursuits, he worked as an IT consultant, gaining valuable insights into practical IT challenges faced by organizations.

In terms of research, Dr Liu specializes in Information Systems, Systems Integration, Business Analytics, And Business Process Alignment. He has an extensive portfolio of research publications and is actively involved in ongoing research projects in these areas. His dedication to advancing knowledge and addressing contemporary challenges in these domains is evident through their research contributions.
