Biography

Justin Cho holds an undergraduate degree in LLB Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is currently working on his PhD on the use of immersive technologies in education at Manchester Metropolitan University.

He is currently a tutor for the Department of Operations, Technology, Events and Hospitality Management. He is involved with teaching on a wide variety of units including: Introduction to Industry 4.0; Introduction to Technology and Big Data; Technology Enhanced Customer Experience; Immersive Technologies; Digital Skills for Lawyers. 

He is also a member of the Creative AR VR Hub at the university, working as a researcher on various projects involving the use of immersive technologies. Some projects include: the use of a virtual reality pulmonary rehabilitation programme to treat COPD patients in the UK, and the implementation of a virtual reality mock trial programme for law students. 

Justin also actively seeks out other research opportunities and has participated in other projects including: “Civil society’s privacy concerns and practices in a smart city: an empirical case study” (MMU), “Strengthening teacher networks, decolonising secondary school history curricula” (BERA, UK + MMU), “Investigating the changing retail tech industry in Europe” (GCA, S. Korea + MMU), “The Metaverse Cancer Care Platform” (NCC, S. Korea + MMU). He also actively participates as a member of the scientific committee on the yearly international conferences held by the International Association of Immersive Technology Innovation.
