Over 15 years experience as a lecturer in Higher Education working in People Management at UCLAN, Derby and MMUBS. 10 years experience working within the Public and Voluntary Sector; 3 years experience Managing Small Business. Knowledge and experience in the fields of Organisational Change and Culture, Leadership and Workplace Stress; Facilitating Action Learning and Self-Directed Learning Sets; currently working for SERCO on their Integrated Centre Leadership Programme as a Mentor to Senior Leaders on the programme.
Professional Qualifications: MBTI Level 1 Assessor Graduate member of British Psychological Society Fellow of the Higher Education Academy

Research outputs

Linda completed her PhD at the University of Manchester on the role of EAPs as a mechanism for managing work related stress. The research was focused in both the Banking sector and local government. Linda’s current area of interest is employer attitudes towards older workers and she is the Lead Evaluator on a European Social Fund Northwest (ESF) project in the Northwest, and is involved with undertaking a small scale research on HRD and the older employee in the financial sector.
